Mind taking a looksie into the infect forum..."merle" asked me a very specific question about the seer and scanning the traitor. Now, what should i do if he asks what specifically what I would say, or how it would be worded? IN a sense that would be public info, if i answer say "X was a survivor, but was now a traitor" i should update it in my rules segment.
Just not sure how to handle it, and trying to anticipate a problem. I'll get the exact quote coming up.
Any advice from either of you would be cool.

Day startsLooks to me that a Night 1 "Survivor" Scan could possibly be the Infected-Convert... and so the Night 1 scan isn't a 'Sure Thing'. Newcastle - could you verify this?
So, just pointing out that if you listed one of us as Night 1 scan: Survivor - No one could argue that testing that person would be a test of the Seer's honesty. (not that anyone would likely argue that anyhow...) Does this answer what you are looking for? (from first page of posts) |

SO, on the first part your order of ops does not jive with your seer statement below. I do not foresee a problem, just add a note out beside "Scans submitted" to see "Power Rules explained" for further clarification. No need to alert anyone to the edit since all the info was there to start.
As for your second part, if anyone every asked how I would specifically word a result given back to a player, I am very generic. "PlayerX is __________." If the seer only gets survivor or wolf then the seer scan would only result in wolf, not traitor. So the seer should not get "PlayerX was a survivor and is now a traitor" since that is not what your rules say the seer gets as info.
I think that is what you were asking.

Actually i meant "seer scanned X, who was a survivor but is now a traitor"; but only if the seer happened to target "traitor" on night 1 during the conversion process". If on night 2 seer scanned "traitor" they'd get "x is a infected".
He seems satisfied with my response so I hope not much more needs to be done.

Fyi i picked up right away what moliere was doing. Though I do think a discussion is warranted if that type of play is allowed. On one hand its goofy and fun to mess around like that....on the other....could really complicate things if the mod doesn't pick up on it. Yes, that would be a big No-No for me because I often scan for the accuse tagged votes and not read the content if I am short on time. Confusing enough when people quote votes. Much less add a fake one that I have to go back and see if I missed it.

And shits about to get real......
RMC coming out as seer w/ Remus & Issy as "survivors"
And El Guapo who knows that UNagi is a infected and issy is a survivor.....
other aspect is that el Guapo's name is being touted by the wolves as a potential night target.
My guess is that punisher's shot is gonna go off today...and i bet it's gonna hit RMC.
Lets get the popcorn ready.....Drama about to go down.

Oh boy...folks are in for a SURPRISE!
I know this is easy to say while knowing everything...BUT...someone needs to take a step back and look at how RMC capped off the scoop vote. Then look how Unagi jumped on RMC's train while RMC didn't hop on unagi's train. Its like he's wanting to get lynched.
Everyone is saying shoot unagi...but folks need to take a real step back and think this through.
Good thing is there are gonna be three more people hanging out here soon! AWESOME!!!!

Yeah, i wonder what he's trying to do. One option though is this....get unagi lynched.....then see what happens tomorrow...then shoot the surviving seer tomorrow.
I am sure he is acutely aware he is the shooter. I bet he is trying to shake a bit more info out.

I like the idea of an Alpha wolf choosing his team. I had a rule like that set up for a possibility in a future game but never did it. I was going to have the Alpha select his members before the game started though and randomize roles afterwards. Would add something fresh to it. Superb idea!!! Maybe add a little twist that the Alpha wolf isn't revealed to his team and is not part of the wolf forum too? |
