AS long as you bold the important stuff "Lassr had been killed." then I'm not sure why veterans would try to read anything into the write up. They should know better. Maybe we need a post write up summary at the bottom highlighting what happened. In summary: There was a conversion. Player X was killed. Gonna do something like that going forward. Holman's confusion is what's prompting me to do it better. Since i dont think he's ever been in one that i hosted. Though I have been in hiatus mod wise. QUESTION- i love the traitor mechanic, specifically being able to choose your team. I think the next iteration of what i do, i am going to do it differently, and props to Unagi for this suggestion. In a nutshell, roll to select who the alpha wolf is, then they get to select their team mates. Then you roll the rest of the roles (seers, etc) amongst the civilians; and randomize the powers amongst teh selected wolves so they can pick their team mate just not what powers those team mates get. He suggested doing it during the night, i prefer starting on a day so everyone gets to participate. Thoughts? I kind of figured have a very slow roll out initally and give team wolf like 3-4 days to get started. Maybe open up the thread, but do allow no voting. That way it gives the wolves time to get settled and PMs out to the new specials. I just love the concept of being able too choose your own team. Beacuse i would love to play as a wolf with some folks who i've not yet been able to do. Just adds a new spice to the mix. |

Lassr - that picture, is that Carl grimes? And who's the gal to the left? it is Carl; Chandler Riggs. the girl is my daughter. She gets VIP tickets to Shaky Beats every year and every year she meets Chandler. She says he is super nice. That was the picture from this year's event. I couldn't find the one from last year. |

I like the idea of an Alpha wolf choosing his team. I had a rule like that set up for a possibility in a future game but never did it. I was going to have the Alpha select his members before the game started though and randomize roles afterwards.
Would add something fresh to it.

Huh. just read on the wolf forum that they are reading my double bird post-death post as a sign I was special. It was just a big FU for killing me. That is the danger of post-death posts, someone trying to read something into it. Guess the dead should just remain silent at all times.

re: your post ....I saw that Lassr. I didn't think your post was "hint like" i mean how much of a hint can you drop that way. They shouldn't read too much into it...its on them as far as i am concerned.

Shaky Beats is a music festival held at Olympic park every year in Atlanta. Dance music I guess you'd call it. Chainsmokers was one of the headliners this year and Kaskade. I've heard of them but not most of the others. A lot of like Daft Punk type music. |

So...am thinking of adding this to the bottom of the write ups to avoid further confusion. Though to be honest, i think i am not gonna mix in any more Dead characters. Takes actions away from the people who are playing, and I really want the players to be the heroes, stars and goats in my write ups. Also will prevent any further confusion i think.

All write up is flavor. Do not read anything into the write-ups. Any Walking Dead character who appears may or may not be dead.
All lynches die via a story mechanism (axe to the face, NPC shoot, walker bite).
All night kills will die via a story mechanism (axe to the face, NPC firing, walker bite).
To be clear, all kills are directed by the players...village lynches and wolf night kill. How they die is my creative mischief.

and if I was playing I would lynch Unagi to find out the truth. No protector so he would die at night anyhow without an extra scan. Seer is one role the wolves cannot give another night hoping the village lynches him. I don't think El Guapo would counter.

Yeah i dont think he'd counter, however, his name is bubbling around as a potential target. It stinks for him since unagi is the first wolf he nailed, so finding more will be hard. I think it's gonna be tough to discover BB this game. RMC I think is dead with a matter of time...while archinerd is on a few folks hit list.

that is the one dynamic about having an evil seer, the good seer cannot sit around as long trying to build up a voting block or find a wolf. After the 3rd night you have to consider the wolves have had 3 kills and 3 scans may be worth dumping what you have before you die and the wolves fake your role.

Very true, lets see what El guapo says. The key i think will be picking up BB, i see him going all the way right now. No heat on him at all. Partially, and not pointing fingers or accusing, I would think sympathy for his situation. Also, though BB so far has been pretty low key, so he's not ruffled feathers. Archinerd just got himself in trouble i think today. Unagi I think is dead soon. And RMC's little jump on the scoop train should seal his fate.
BUT...its easy as hell to see this when you know everything. That's why the game is played...or so they say.
